I am queer, non-binary, polyamorous, and chronically ill. My dogs Swarley and Mojo Jojo are my entire world. I love fostering animals, thrifting, tattoos, being outside, playdoh, questioning social norms, cinnamon rolls, bright colors, geometric designs, and any sort of swing or hammock.

I could talk forever on my passion for working with and being a part of the autistic community.

*I have 31 years of lived experience as an Autistic/ADHD/OCD human. I discovered I was Autistic in 2019.

*I have done, and am still doing, an immense amount of work to unmask and better understand my brain and my body.

*I have spent the last few years immersed in the Autistic community, listening to perspectives and experiences of others.

*I have a bachelors degree in communication sciences/disorders and linguistics from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

*I have a masters degree in speech language pathology from the University of Utah.

*While I am a practicing SLP, coaching and consulting work is NOT SPEECH THERAPY. My coaching and consulting work is separate and is NOT formal therapy. I will soon be able to offer speech therapy as well.

*I began formally consulting, coaching, and presenting/educating in 2020. I have presented/trained various educational and medical professionals, recreational professionals, high school students, graduate students, and a variety of other clinicians and community members.

My consulting and coaching services are based on Autistic/ADHD lived experience and designed to be neurodiversity affirming. Building and maintaining connection, considering intersectionality, and utilizing trauma informed concepts of care are my top priorities.

My experience as an SLP has helped me to better understand the context around some autistic traits however my primary experience and expertise is sourced from lived experience and NOT my formal education/licensure.

The things that I was taught during my formal education about Autism were generally inaccurate and rooted in ableism with a deficit based lens and was in no way informed by actually Autistic/ADHD humans.
